Here is what folks are saying …
“ED’s have no peers in their organization and it feels like we struggle alone. The nonprofit ED peer group is a great way to share ideas, information, and support for each other. It is great to be able to bring an issue to the table and have people who really understand the reality of nonprofit management listen and brainstorm. … The facilitator keeps us on task and focused so we don’t turn it into a gripe session with no real work done. Absolutely worth 2 hours of time per month.” … SD / 7 year participant
“As a first time Executive Director I have found the Peer Forum discussions invaluable as I interact with Board, Staff and Donors. Our discussions have definitely given me more confidence in my new role.” … MS/ 1 year participant.
“The process of learning and then sharing the issues that face us as nonprofit leaders has helped me keep my own issues in perspective and has helped me develop strategies for helping my organization be as effective and proactive as possible. Thank you!” … DS / 3 year participant
Each 2-hour session is led by a skilled facilitator with extensive knowledge of the nonprofit sector who manages the process and discussion. Groups are composed of no more than 7 individuals (in the same type position) who each commit to meet together on a monthly basis.
10 sessions / $350.00 / Partial Scholarships may be available.
Circles are forming now and will begin in September or October, 2011.
